I’ve used verybestbaking a handful of times, some of the recipes have turned out great, especially the cookies and easier desserts. I do kind of regret just following a couple of them exactly, though, because the baking time felt a little too long or the flavor needed a bit more of a boost. It’s not a bad site at all, but next time I’ll trust my own judgment sooner and make small adjustments as I go.

I usually check verybestbaking when I’m looking for holiday recipe ideas. some of the seasonal stuff is really nice, especially the fall baking recipes, but a lot of it feels similar from year to year. the site is easy enough to use, I just wish they added more new ideas.

"Reliable, but I wish it took less effort"
I’ve been using Very Best Baking for years whenever I need a cookie or pie recipe. It’s reliable, and I like that the recipes are tied to brands I already know and trust. I’ve never had anything turn out weird, which is pretty much why I keep going back. That said, baking still feels like a lot of work sometimes — all the measuring, mixing, waiting, and cleanup can be a hassle, but at least their recipes don’t make it harder than it needs to be.

I tried a cookie recipe from verybestbaking.com and they came out pretty much perfect. Soft in the middle and just a little crispy on the edges. My kids ate them way too fast lol, so I guess that says enough. Def gonna use this recipe again.

"So many options"
I was just there recently the selection really stood out to me. There was a lot to pick from, which made it easy to find something I liked without feeling stuck with only a few choices.

"Pretty quick to use"
The recipe pages load really fast for me which is nice when I’m in the kitchen trying to check something quickly, but a few of the photos do take a second to pop up so I’ll be scrolling and then they suddenly appear, not a huge deal though.

"Helpful Little Savings for Baking"
I’ve used Very Best Baking a few times now, and I usually end up finding some kind of coupon or promo code to use. It’s not huge savings or anything, but it definitely helps when I’m picking up baking supplies or trying out a new recipe. The deals were easy to find, and the ones I tried actually worked at checkout. Overall, I’ve had a good experience and would recommend checking it out if you bake often.

I’ve tried Very Best Baking a handful of times, and for the most part the recipes have come out well. That said, some of the instructions feel a little vague, especially with things like bake time or what size pan to use. I get the impression they’re kind of assuming you already know your way around baking, which isn’t always the case for me. Overall, it’s not a bad site at all, I just wish the directions were a bit more specific for people who don’t bake super often.

"Good recipes, but the ingredients can be a hassle"
My first impression of Very Best Baking was positive, the site felt easy enough to use, and the recipes looked like the kind of things I’d actually want to bake. I still use it sometimes, and most of the recipes I’ve tried have turned out fine. The only thing that keeps coming up is that some of the ingredients aren’t stuff I can easily find at my regular grocery stores. A few times I’ve had to substitute something or just give up and choose a different recipe. It’s definitely not a bad site, I just wish more of the recipes used everyday ingredients I already have around.

"Pretty good overall"
I’ve ordered a few baking mixes and some chips from here, and they’ve been solid so far. Everything tasted fresh and I didn’t notice any weird aftertaste. One bag had some broken pieces in it, but it still tasted good, so not a huge deal

"Helpful, but I was a little pressed for time"
I had a question about one of the recipes and reached out to customer service. They got back to me the next day, which was okay, though I was kind of hoping for a quicker reply since I was trying to make it that day. They were nice and answered what I needed, so it all worked out. Overall, good experience.
